Bunge & Born Foundation – Max Planck’s Doctoral Fellowships 2017

The Bunge & Born Foundation – Max Planck’s doctoral fellowships are destined to young argentinian researchers, with the objective of fulfill their doctoral studies at Max Planck’s institutes in Germany, assuming the commitment of finishing and presenting their doctoral thesis. This program has the aim of support and foster the scientific development of the country, as also to stimulate the cooperation and exchange between academic institutions of Argentina and Germany.

IBRO Alumni Symposium @ SfN Meeting 2016

The IBRO Alumni Committee under the leadership of its chair, Valeria Della Maggiore (Universidad de Buenos Aires, Argentina), will hold an IBRO Alumni Symposium at the next Society for Neuroscience (SfN) Annual Meeting in San Diego, USA.

This symposium will be held on 14 November 2016 from 18:30 – 21:00 @ Marriott Marquis San Diego Marina, San Diego Ballroom C.

Five IBRO alumni from five different countries – Kinga Bercsenyi (UK), Thiago Cunha (Brazil), Krishna C. Vadodaria (USA), Paul Bangirana (Uganda) and Wei Shi (China) – have been selected to share their research on novel experimental approaches in treating infectious and environmental diseases affecting the nervous system.

International PhD Fellowships in Berlin 2017

The Einstein Center for Neurosciences Berlin (ECN) invites applications for its PhD program starting in Fall 2017. The ECN member institutions promote cutting-edge neuroscientific research across a wide range of different disciplines and approaches. With around 100 internationally recognized research groups, the ECN offers outstanding interdisciplinary training and research opportunities for national and international scientists, with research spanning from synapse to behavior, molecule to disease, and brain to mind.
